The Special Prosecutor's Office and the Police of Kosovo issued a joint statement regarding the action in the north.

Controls were carried out in 7 locations, related to the events of September 24, when an armed group attacked the police in Banjska.

Four of these controlled buildings are located in North Mitrovica, two in Zveçan and one in Banjska.

Officials from EULEX, KFOR and Kosovo Police also participated in these controls.

In one of the buildings checked in North Mitrovica, a quantity of ammunition, Kalashnikovs, explosives, etc. were found.

Preliminary list of seized weapons and other equipment:

• 87 pieces of TM 100 explosives

• 3 hand grenades (zola)

• 1 AK-47 automatic weapon

• 1 MRUD type anti-personnel mine

• 14 magazines

• Ammunition of different calibers

• 63 electric detonators

• 23 mechanical detonators

• 1 hour for activation

• 1 M79 hand grenade

• 3 spark plugs

• Bag, radio, bulletproof, medical equipment, armor (vest for carrying magazines), gas mask, batteries, etc./ CNA
