Suella Braverman, former Secretary of the Interior of the State, after being dismissed from office, through a long letter, has accused the British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak of being a repeated failure and of betraying the agreement to stop illegal immigrant boats.
"You have clearly and repeatedly failed to meet each of these key policies. Or your particular governing style means you are unable to do so. Or, as I must now surely conclude, you never had any intention of keeping your promises. "Your rejection of this path was not just a betrayal of our agreement, but a betrayal of your promise to the nation that you would do 'whatever it takes' to stop the boats ," Braverman wrote.
Braverman, one of the leading figures in the conservative party, urged Prime Minister Sunak to "change course urgently", saying he has led the conservatives to defeat in the election and that his reinstatement as party leader is a failure.
Foreign media have published Braverman's full letter. The former official has been one of the critical voices for Albanian immigrants, whose statements caused quite a bit of resentment among the Albanian community in Britain. She left office on the order of Rishi Sunak this Monday./ CNA
