Maryanne Trump Barry, the older sister of the former American president, Donald Trump, has passed away at the age of 86.

The BBC reports that Maryanne Trump Barry was found dead this Monday morning in her apartment in New York. 

From the information so far, the cause of the loss of life of the former president's sister has not yet been revealed. It is suspected that she may have suffered a cardiac arrest, but this has not been confirmed.

Maryanne Trump Barry served as a federal judge in New Jersey from 1983 until her retirement in 2019.

She is the third of Mr Trump's four siblings to have passed away. Former President Trump has not commented on his loss.
