The Serbian authorities arrest Milan Radoicic, checks at the apartment

The Serbian police have arrested the former vice-president of the Serbian List, Milan Radoicic.

Euronews Serbia reports that checks were carried out on Tuesday in the apartment and other premises of Milan Radoicic, who was ordered to be detained for up to 48 hours by the police.

He has been sent to the High Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade. 

We recall that the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced two days ago that Milan Radoicic has responded to the invitation of the Serbian state authorities and that he was accompanied by his lawyer to the police to give a statement as a citizen about the circumstances of the tragic event in Banjska. 

Radoicic announced on Friday through his lawyer that on September 24 he was in the village of Banjska when there was a conflict with the Kosovo police. 

Regarding the participation in the attack in Zveçan, he said that he had informed no one in Belgrade about the events there. 

"The death of the policeman happened accidentally, after which a fierce fight began on both sides, in which our three fellow soldiers, heroes who gave their lives for the freedom and preservation of Kosovo and Metohija, were killed," said Radoicic.
