Three members' mandates expire/ Vacancies announced for the Supervisory Council of the Bank of Albania

The Economy Committee has announced vacancies for 3 members of the Supervisory Council of the Bank of Albania. This decision comes after the end of the mandate of Violeta Staka, Artan Hoxha and Luljeta Minxhozi.

Violeta Staka has held the position of member of the Supervisory Council of the Bank of Albania since December 2020.

Artan Hoxha has been a member of the Supervisory Council of the Bank of Albania since December 2018. 

Meanwhile, Luljeta Minxhozi, in addition to her duties as a member of the Supervisory Council, has also held the position of First Deputy Governor of the Bank since January 9, 2019.

The Supervisory Council is the highest decision-making and supervisory body of the Bank of Albania and consists of 9 members. All members are elected and appointed by the Assembly for a 7-year mandate, with the right to re-election. As a procedure, 5 members are proposed by the Assembly, 3 by the Council of Ministers and 1 by the Supervisory Council. /CNA
