The Mayor of Tirana, who is in the cells of Durrës prison, Erion Veliaj, yesterday made a long public reaction demanding the invalidity of the investigative acts.

It is enough to read the sheet that has neither the signature nor the seal of the lawyers nor his signature, because there is still no public explanation of who signed that document, to understand what nonsense we are dealing with.

It seems clear that Erion Veliaj continues with his propaganda strategy, putting aside the confrontation with the facts and evidence produced by SPAK and seeks to escape through procedural forms or, as he shouted for months about prison without charges and now that there are charges, he says the investigations are to blame.

Moreover, the faction is to blame.

But no one says whether it is legal to open a faction, another investigative file or not?

However, what stood out in many of the points mentioned by Erion Veliaj as challenges to the investigations was the mention of a single prosecutor, Ols Dado.

It is known that for months he has been the target of attacks ordered by the mayor of Tirana, which we saw in wiretaps where he ordered it to be written that 2 million euros had been requested to get him out of prison, which turned out to be a big lie, this was also repeated by the media that today support Erioni, mainly by journalist Mero Baze.

In fact, throughout the attack on Ols Dado, where the main goal is to declare a conflict of interest between him or a personal grudge with Erion Veliaj, a building permit requested by a builder on a property owned by Mr. Dado, which is undisputed, was granted by Veliaj, so that at the time when the debate broke out, everything was clarified, it was accepted that the permit had been regular and the prosecutor, for his part, thanked Erion Veliaj.

Then the latter, the mayor of Tirana, invented additional floors, which Erion Veliaj had not approved, so they were rejected. So far we have not seen either Ols Dado's request or Erion Veliaj's rejection.

But why doesn't Altin Duman mention Erion Veliaj?

We expect to see them, but in the entire list of attacks they make against Ols Dado to refute the demands made against him, Erion Veliaj forgets the second name, Altin Dumanin.

CNA has often mentioned that there is not one prosecutor in the file, there are two.

It is the head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, who has signed every document, every investigative procedural act.

A case involving two prosecutors is signed by both parties, but Veliaj initially chose not to attack Dumani, the target was Ols Dado, so that the latter would resign and flee the investigations.

This did not happen. Ols Dado has borne the attacks, but the coward Veliaj has not yet attacked Dumani.

Instead, Mero Bazen and his media have chosen to attack SPAK as an institution by mixing it with all sorts of prosecutors inside, who sleep on files, such as the case of Dritan Prenç with the incinerators. A prosecutor who does not investigate. SPAK today has the "Dumani" standard in investigations and the standard that Veliaj wants, that of Prenç.

In Veliaj's case, the strategy appears to be the line of interception, but there is a very essential detail.

Erioni can demand that Ols Dado resign, he can also produce some document or some other invention to remove him from the investigation, but what will he do with Altin Dumani?

Now that Ols Dado is gone, what about Altin Duman, who was co-prosecutor for the investigation of this file?

These are ridiculous to think about and they are ridiculous as a solution because even if one prosecutor is leaving, the other prosecutor has carried out all investigative acts in accordance with the law.

The strategies of the mayor of Tirana, attacking one prosecutor and leaving the other alone, show a kind of fear or panic and a refusal to face the truth.

Veliaj has the right to lie that he is defending himself, but he is defending himself by attacking, accusing, slandering or deceiving, and more than the worry of facing justice after 13 charges, he now has the worry of faction, the file where his brother is being investigated, and the millions of euros worth of money that have circulated for Erion Veliaj's interests.

The point is, do we need the "Dumani" or "Prençi" standard for SPAK as an institution?! Veliaj wants the second./ CNA
