On the SPAK investigations, their publication and the Veliaj-Xoxa wiretaps

The news that two people had hacked or obtained materials for SPAK's investigative files was widely circulated in the media. So, there was a leak of information, which was then distributed in several hands.

There is a reaction from some enlightened minds who are hovering around on screens that these SPAK investigations, these acts that were distributed in several hands, should have been published.

It also continues with the thesis that yesterday's wiretaps that CNA released were obtained from within SPAK, as was said for the release of the decision of the Court of First Instance.

In fact, they are completely different cases.

We are dealing with completely different issues, and for every question posed by some empty heads, there is always an answer when you have the truth with you.

First, no stolen document has been published by SPAK.  The decision of the Court of First Instance is public. It has been given to all lawyers.  The court decision has attached the communications, actions, procedures carried out by the prosecutor and the judge's decision. This decision is made public and then parts of it are published.

Journalists who can find them from their sources distribute them to each other.

This is what happened in the case of Erion Veliaj with the decision of the Court of First Instance, but the only difference was that only CNA and some other media, "Syri" or "Ora", published the court's decision.

Others did not publish anything, they simply said that they were documents that were leaked to SPAK. We understand where they "leaked" from from the wiretaps of Veliaj in Durres prison.

From the wiretaps made from Durrës prison cells, it appears that these orders to attack prosecutors and not publish the materials were given by Erion Veliaj, who at all times ordered the attack on prosecutor Ols Dado, and while those few media outlets were publishing the court's decision, the others, which were under Erion Veliaj's control, continued to report that the documents had been released by SPAK.

This has been done by "Tema", "Shqiptarja.com", all the media outlets that have been used by the mayor, which we will continue to publish in the future.

In the first case, there is no decision not to publish part of what the court has revealed, there is no prosecutor's order. There is no court decision to prevent us from publishing the decision, for the media to publish the decision.

But some media outlets reported it and some others did not, and everything was now clarified by wiretaps.

Ordered from prison

Those media outlets that did not broadcast it, that did not report the court's decision, which, in fact, they had in their hands, have one detail: They were ordered from prison by Erion Veliaj, they were ordered by the government.

These are the media outlets that Erion Veliaj's brother pays for, with the money he receives from private companies or government concessionaires.

That's all.

SPAK investigations and hacking

In the second case, we are not dealing with a court decision, but with a fact. SPAK acts and investigations have been sent to phones by certain people.

These people have strong connections to power that go all the way to important directors or general secretaries of the Renaissance government. They go all the way to Agim Ismaili, former director of IMT, former director of Prisons, former director of AKU, and to Dritan Palnikaj, who had these materials in his hands, today general secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, yesterday general secretary of Fatmir Xhafaj, at the time when the latter was minister of the interior.

So, these SPAK acts had a trick inside.

They were issued on March 12th. We recall that on March 12th, the appeal trial of Mayor Erion Veliaj took place, and it was initially understood that these materials were distributed to several media outlets to be published on that very day (by Veliaj's critics), but who guarantees that they were real acts, they were not manipulated, processed documents, since they were in Word format, they were in editable format, so they could be changed.

How could those materials be published without first going through a filter, without gathering some information, without asking the parties? Then a prosecutor's order was issued to ban their publication, which is the next day.

Veliaj's wiretaps

In the first case, there is a court decision (publication of the decision on Veliaj) and in the second case, there is a prosecutor's decision (the documents that were hacked at SPAK) that prohibits the disclosure of the secret.

In the third case, which is the release of the wiretaps of Erion Veliaj in prison, there is no prosecutorial or court decision for those wiretaps, they should not be published, they are part of the court decision because they are part of the third charge brought against Mayor Erion Veliaj and the stupidest lawyer understands what happened and how simple it is to obtain these materials.

In the first case, most journalists took them, shared them with each other, many did not publish them, because that was the order from the Durrës prison. We saw prosecutors being attacked and insulted in the wiretaps.

And now that the wiretaps are coming out, anyone who thinks they don't have them is wrong. Many journalists have them, but they don't publish them because their editorial offices don't allow it.

This is the truth and the difference between a clear court decision and the fact why those SPAK acts are not published, which are the wiretaps of an official, a businessman and his associate, which in fact have nothing important or essential inside.

For some, they must be revealed, but for someone who implements and respects the law, they are acts that must be verified first, must pass a professional journalistic filter, and then be made public.

And, why do these flag-bearers have a prosecutor's order not to publish the acts that were hacked at SPAK? This is not the first case. It would be better for them to find a lawyer and appeal the decision of prosecutor Bledar Maksuti./ CNA
