A strong denunciation was made this Thursday evening by the head of the DP, Sali Berisha.
He said that the tunnels of Albania are burying terrible poisons.
Berisha emphasized that he has not yet been able to provide facts, but for this denunciation he has referred to some news he has read.
The leader of the DP made this statement during his speech at the protest, on "Mustafa Matohit" street, as he spoke about the ships that are suspected of transporting chemical waste from Albania to Thailand.
Full statement:
My friends, you still have a fresh memory when this adventurer, this criminal took over Assad's chemical weapons in Albania, without asking anyone.
Do you know the colossal amount of waste that was produced from their destruction?
But it was the youth of Tirana, it was the powerful protests that bent the adventurer, the criminal, who wanted for his chair to destroy the chemical weapons of the Syrian dictator, Assad, in Albania.
Dear friends, I must tell the Albanians that for some time there have been reports that terrible poisons are buried in the tunnels of Albania.
Of course, I have to be honest, apart from the news, I have not been able to get hold of a concrete fact, because I would never leave it without making it public.

But burying poisons in the country's tunnels is a monstrous crime against Albanians when you consider that the underwater waters of this country are even more abundant than its surface waters.
I don't say, I don't have facts, but thousands of tons of materials rightfully leave us suspecting that terrible, hidden, secret processes are taking place here for the enrichment of Edi Rama and his gangs in power.
What are they? One thing is certain that in 32 years this has never happened.
There are chrome, iron, aluminum furnaces here. They have codified their waste where they transport it and where they export it.
But these were a supermafia act, they left for Trieste, they were stopped. They returned to Thailand, Thailand just found out, sent them back to Albania, you have no business here.
What are these poisons that wander from one sea to another and Edi Rama, Pirro Vëngu, Lubi Balluku are silent like a blade of grass.
Whose contract is it?
What are the substances that come and are destroyed in Albania and their waste is exported and no one accepts that they are toxic poisons?/ CNA
