Valbona area without lights/ Complaint: Tourists are woken up by the sound of generators and the smell of fuel

CEO, Avni Ponari has denounced the scandal that is happening at the height of the tourist season in Valbona, Tropoja.

He informs that since 3 o'clock in the morning there are no lights in this area.

As a result, tourists are forced to wake up with the noise of generators and the smell of fuel, while in the Valbona Valley there are 3 HPPs to supply energy to Tropoja and Kukës.

Only 2 km from Valbona is the HPP that can produce over 4 megawatts of energy. Yes, transmission systems are a state monopoly.

The generators have begun to hum with their noise that can be heard throughout the valley and up to the top. Of course, the smell of burning fuel is also present.

In Valbona Valley there are 3 HPPs to supply energy to Tropoja and Kukës. Kabuli is located only in the direction of the substation in Bajram Curri and then, through the system, towards Tirana.
