Journalist Robert Papa commented today on some of the latest developments from the region, focusing also on the situation between Kosovo and Serbia.

Invited to Euronews Albania, the Pope said that Kosovo has the support of the United States of America, also as part of its foreign policy vision.

The Pope also expressed his position on the political instability in Serbia, while also mentioning the numerous protests in the center of Belgrade.

"Vu?i? is part of a criminal government that committed Miloševi?'s genocide. I am glad that the Americans have understood this. Those who take to the streets of Belgrade have a reason for doing this. You cannot be with Moscow and the West. But they are a danger to us. Serbia always remains a danger. Kosovo remains a land of American influence. These are the spheres that control foreign policy. If you look at the tariffs, they put more on Serbia and less on Kosovo. I am glad that in the new elections that it will hold, Kosovo will elect a government allied with America. Whoever it is, there is no other chance. I see no solution in Kosovo, unless it unites with Albania. Whether we want it or not, the future is with us. And we are pro-American", - said the Pope./ CNA
