There are only 16 hours left until the meeting of the United Colleges that will take place on April 9 to review the interim decision of Sokol Sadushi, who serves the arrested mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, who is facing 13 charges for 5 serious criminal offenses.

The court hearing before the United Colleges will be held at 9:30 a.m.

Sokol Sadushi has issued an interim decision, exercising this duty for the first time, to initiate the procedure for the partial amendment of the unified practice of the Joint Panels of the Supreme Court of 2011 on personal security measures.

In the interim decision taken on March 9, 2026 by Sokol Sadushi, it is emphasized that it has been decided:

1-Initiation of the procedure for the partial amendment of the unified judicial practice, regarding decision no. 7, dated 14.10.2011 of the Joint Panels of the Supreme Court.

Through this interim decision, Sadushi seeks to make procedural changes that ultimately lead to changing the criteria for imposing the security measure, thus serving Erion Veliaj as a major embarrassment to the head of the Supreme Court and his friend Mero Baze, a mercenary journalist and suicide bomber of the Veliaj family. 

The unvetted Sokol Sadushi, a man who should not have been part of the justice system, has now joined the ranks of mercenaries who are now serving interim decisions to the mayor accused of 5 serious criminal offenses.
