The Transparency Board publishes prices/ Here's how much oil and gasoline

The Transparency Board held its next meeting today, where it made decisions regarding the trading price of oil and gasoline in our country.

It is announced that the retail price of diesel will be 220 lek/liter, while the wholesale price will not exceed 208 lek/liter.

The retail price of gasoline will be no more than 181 lek/liter, while the wholesale price will be no more than 169 lek/liter. The prices set by the Board will come into effect today at 15:30 and will be valid until the next board meeting.

The Transparency Board on April 8, 2026, at its next meeting, decided:

The retail price of the gasoil by-product of the SSH EN 590 standard should be no more than 220 lek/liter, while the wholesale price should be no more than 208 lek/liter.

The retail price of the SSH EN standard gasoline by-product should be no more than 181 lek/liter, while the wholesale price should be no more than 169 lek/liter.

The prices set by the Board will come into effect today, the 8th, at 3:30 p.m. and will be valid until the next board meeting where the changes in sales prices will be reflected.

We draw the attention of every operator of wholesale and retail sales of petroleum by-products to the obligation to implement this decision.

In case of violations found by various operators, the suspension of activity will be decided.

The Ministry of Economy and Innovation, together with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, are committed to protecting the interests of Albanian consumers and preserving the principles of fair competition in the market. /CNA
