Prime Minister Edi Rama has conducted an inspection at the new Regional Hospital, with the white-shirt leaders on the conditions, for about 22 thousand doctors, nurses and medical staff across the country.

Rama expressed his hope that doctors' salaries will increase again in the future. Among other things, he added that the decentralization of oncology services is a great relief for citizens.

"The increase in salaries has been significant because the growth in the economy has been significant. Since the economy is helping us to have more opportunities, we will extend the indexation of salaries to all professions. We will be able to increase salaries again in the future. The hospital is in very good conditions. I have not found any complaints about the Lezha hospital and you have created a respect among those you serve. Every hospital that also carries the load of the general outpatient clinic is loaded. I believe that the decentralization of the oncology and chemotherapy service is fantastic. It eases some of the problems of patients such as the road or the waiting time", said Rama.

The head of government also said that the problem in hospitals is management, while he stated that fees should be set for tourists in order to increase the financial capacity of the state, according to him.

"The problem is management, we do not have a tradition of managing hospitals the way the world does. By discussing with two large groups to enter into management relationships, for example, Poland has made a super transformation by taking management from abroad. We must definitely set tariffs for tourists. We must increase the financial capacity of the state. These things are discussed on the basis of a budget. These are things that will come step by step ," the Prime Minister said. /CNA
