Trafficked tons of drugs from Latin America / GJKKO rejects Ermir Ndreaj's

The Criminal Court of Kosovo (CCKKO) decided today to dismiss the request filed by Ermir Ndreaj, accused of trafficking tons of drugs from Latin America to Europe.

On 11.08.2025, Ermir Ndreaj submitted to the Court the request with the subject: "Replacement of the security measure".

It is reported that Ndreaj had submitted a request for a change of measure for health reasons, arguing that he was experiencing a health problem.

MEDIA NOTICE

The applicant Ermir Ndreaj, on 11.08.2025, submitted to the Court the request with the subject: "Replacement of the security measure", legal basis Article 260/2 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

At the end of the trial, the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, with a panel composed of Judge Erjon Bani, based on Articles 112 and 260 of the Criminal Procedure Code, with decision no. 560, dated 13.10.2025, decided:

The rejection of the request submitted by the person under investigation, Ermir Ndreaj.

The court costs are borne by the applicant.

This decision may be appealed to the Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime within 5 (five) days, starting from the day after the notification of this decision. /CNA
