The State Police has issued an official statement regarding the arrest of Astrit Avdylaj's nephew. In the statement below, the 37-year-old, Elidon alias Aldo Avdylaj, is considered a person of high social risk.

His arrest was made by the Durrës Police Operational Forces in cooperation with the "RENEA" Special Forces, in his apartment near Liqen i Thatë. During the intervention in the apartment, a pistol firearm with combat ammunition was found and seized.

The 37-year-old is accused by the Criminal Court of Kosovo of the criminal offenses of "Premeditated Murder", committed in retaliation, "Laundering of the proceeds of a criminal offense or criminal activity", committed within the framework of a structured criminal group, as well as "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition".

The police operation codenamed "Ghosts" is finalized.

The operation was carried out by the Durrës Police Department, in cooperation with the Directorate of Special Operations Forces at the DPPSh and the "RENEA" Special Forces.

A citizen with high social risk is located, captured and put in handcuffs.

A 37-year-old man from Shijak is in custody, accused of being a member of a criminal group for crimes against the person.

During the intervention in the apartment where the 37-year-old was hiding, the Police found and seized a pistol firearm with combat ammunition.

In continuation of the work to locate, capture and detain wanted persons, the operational structures of the Police, based on information obtained through operational channels, for a wanted citizen, with high social risk, organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Ghosts".

As part of the operation, the Operational Forces of the Durrës Police Department, in cooperation with the DFPO and the "RENEA" Special Forces, near the Dry Lake, captured and handcuffed citizen EA alias AA, 37 years old, resident of Shijak.

This citizen is accused by the Criminal Court of Kosovo of the criminal offenses of "Premeditated Murder", committed in retaliation, "Laundering of the proceeds of a criminal offense or criminal activity", committed within the framework of a structured criminal group, as well as "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition".

The procedural materials were referred to SPAK for further action.
