Heavy traffic on the Vorë-Maminas axis/ Police: Situation in several areas

This Monday, the secondary axis Vorë-Maminas was involved in heavy traffic, with queues reaching over 15 km.

On this occasion, police authorities inform that this situation has been created in several areas within the capital, as well as at the entrances and exits of Tirana.

The police announce that general patrols are on the ground in order to manage and facilitate traffic.

Due to the temporary closure of the Tirana-Durres highway, for work reasons, announced on 10.10.2025, by the Albanian Road Authority, heavy traffic has been created in several areas within the capital, as well as at its entrance and exit.

Traffic Police Services and General Patrols are located at every intersection and main road segment, with the aim of managing and facilitating traffic.

Tirana Police appeal to drivers to show patience, respect road signs and instructions from Police officers, and use alternative routes to avoid traffic delays. /CNA
