"The EU's position is the same as the opposition's"/ Bozdo:

DP MP Enno Bozdo spoke in a plenary session regarding the approval of the law on tourist ports.

Bozdo stated that the reaction of the EU delegation in Tirana was the same as the opposition's stance on this law. He called on the president not to decree the law and to reverse it.

"The unanimous call from opposition MPs in parliamentary committees was that the law on tourist ports not be approved and that it be reversed. You saw the EU's reaction, which essentially proved the opposition's positions 100% true. The EU rejected the law that you approved with the same arguments as the opposition. The EU also referred to the law on investors, which it said should be repealed. We said in the last session that that law harms competition and is clientelistic. The President should not decree and reverse that law," said Bozdo.

The European Union delegation stated the day before that the changes to the law on tourist ports should be closely assessed by them, especially in the area of ??public procurement and their compliance with EU legislation.

Among other things, the reaction stated that the new text includes provisions present in the Law on Strategic Investors. According to them, this is a law that is expected to be repealed as part of the steps of the Reform Agenda and within the framework of the closing conditions for Chapter 27. /CNA
