The Deputy Chairman of the Economy Committee in the Assembly, Eno Bozdo, has stated that the European Union shares the same position as the Democratic Party, regarding the new law approved by the SP on tourist ports.

In a reaction, Bozdo underlines that this law conflicts with the principles of competition and transparency of the European Union.

"The EU today fact-checked the Democratic Party's position:

The Tourist Ports Law is not only clientelist, as is the Strategic Investment Law, but above all it contradicts the principles of competition and transparency of the European Union!

Not long ago, last Thursday, DP deputies denounced this law in Parliament as corrupt and anti-EU!

The SP did not want to listen to any of our arguments. It even strongly defended the draft law! This shows how far this majority is from EU values, and that its rhetoric about European integration is false!

"Edi Rama loves the EU to deceive the public, but he does not love its governing, anti-corruption and pro-competitive economy standards at all," writes Bozdo./ CNA
