After 4 days blocked by avalanches, Theth-Boga road opens

After four days of being blocked due to avalanches and heavy snowfall, the Theth-Bogë mountain road has become passable again. The road was unblocked after continuous work throughout the night by teams on the ground.

During today's day, the action was inspected by the Prefect of Shkodra District, Holta Duda, together with AKMC inspectors, who closely monitored the situation and the measures taken to guarantee security in the area.

With the completion of the cleaning of the affected segment, the movement of vehicles from Thethi towards Boga has begun. In the meantime, work continues on salting and widening the passable section, to avoid frost risks and ensure normal traffic.

Authorities appeal for maximum caution from drivers, respect for signage and following the instructions of structures on the ground, given that low temperatures continue to be present in mountainous areas./ CNA
