The Minister of Internal Affairs, Besfort Lamallari, has reacted regarding the recent action of the Traffic Police to identify and remove tinted vehicle windows that have been installed in violation of the law.

Lamallari emphasizes that vehicles with tinted windows without a permit will not be tolerated, emphasizing that law enforcement is equal for all road users.

"Tinted windows in your car do not make you invisible. And even worse, when you have them without permission, they will certainly be removed without fail by the State Police ," the minister said.

He further adds that the streets are a public space where safety and transparency are paramount, so any violation will be dealt with according to the law.

"The streets are not a place for anonymity or privilege. They are a public space where the rules apply equally to everyone," he adds. /CNA
