The Supreme Court publishes candidates for members of the Supreme Court,

The Supreme Court has announced the official candidates for members of the Supreme Judicial Council.

The list was announced after the completion of the procedure for verifying the legal criteria, within the framework of the process initiated by the Supreme Court on June 26, 2026, for the election of three new members of the Supreme Court of Justice: one judge from the first instance, one from the courts of appeal and one from the Supreme Court.

There are 7 candidates on the list running for members of the Supreme Court.

Arbena Ahmeti – Supreme Court

Sandër Simoni – Supreme Court

Igerta Hysi – Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime

Fatri Islamaj – Tirana Court of Appeal of General Jurisdiction

Matilda Llangozi – Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction of Tirana

Brunilda Kadi – Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction of Tirana

Manjola Xhaxho – Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction of Tirana.
