GJKKO fines Erion Veliaj's defendant lawyer

The Criminal Court of Albania has fined the defendant lawyer of the arrested mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, Plarent Ndreca.

The fine for Plarent Ndreca is an amount of 50 thousand lek.

The court found him guilty of postponing today's session, assessing that in the previous session he had not raised any claims about the date and that his behavior was the reason for postponing the process.

The court has found that Erion Veliaj's defendant lawyer, Plarent Ndreca, and the mayor himself are using schemes and scenarios to indefinitely postpone court hearings.
