Failure to initiate investigations against detention center employees/ Former president addresses Tirana Court

Former President Ilir Meta has addressed the Tirana Court to request an investigation into the complaint against the employees of Detention Center 313, after the Tirana Prosecutor's Office opposed the start of the investigation.

Meta has denounced that the employees of Prison 313 have abused their duty.

According to him, the employees did not allow him to communicate from the institution's premises, and he was not treated well during his stay in prison.

It is learned that the case will be reviewed by Judge Vjollca Sahiu. 

Through the court appeal, Meta requests that the prosecutor's decision be overturned and that the court order the continuation of the investigation into the case he has denounced. /CNA
