Accused of abuse of office/ Former socialist mayor appears in the Criminal Court

The former socialist mayor of Divjaka, Fredi Kokoneshi, appeared before the Special Court this Tuesday.

Kokoneshi has arrived at the GJKKO regarding the accusations against him for abuse of office.

SPAK has named the former socialist mayor of Divjaka, Fredi Kokoneshi, as a defendant on July 14, 2026.

The former mayor is accused of abuse of office. In addition to Kokonesh, Andi Bullari, Ledio Xharo and Dorian Spaho have also been named as defendants.

According to SPAK, officials of the Municipality of Divjaka committed illegal actions during the procedure of leasing several properties that were used for solar plants with a 10-year term of use, while these properties were registered as agricultural land in the ASHK./ CNA
