Karçanaj appears before SPAK, in application of the "compulsory appearance" measure

The former director of the National Agency for the Information Society, Mirlinda Karçanaj, appeared this Tuesday at the SPAK premises, where she continues to implement the "compulsory appearance" security measure imposed on her as part of the investigations into the issue of AKSHI tenders.

Karçanaj arrived accompanied by her legal counsel. She was previously under "house arrest," but the Supreme Court decided to change it, allowing her to be investigated in a more relaxed state.

The former director's name is part of the file where seven other people have been named as defendants. The Special Prosecution Office claims that during the development of several public procurement procedures, violations were committed that favored certain economic operators and violated competition./ CNA
