Tirana incident/ Police provide details: 31-year-old armed man crashed vehicles

Tirana police reported the incident a little while ago, where an armed person crashed several cars. 

The incident occurred around 12:30, where the "Eagle" forces signaled the vehicle driven by citizen IK, 31 years old, to stop because they had information that he was circulating with a firearm.

After being stopped, as soon as he learned that he would be searched, the 31-year-old continued driving at high speed, crashing into several vehicles and a motorcycle. As a result, the driver and passenger in the motorcycle were injured and are in hospital. The 31-year-old was arrested and a firearm was found in his vehicle.

At around 12:30, at Liqeni i Thatë, the "Eagle" Special Force stopped a vehicle driven by citizen IK, 31 years old, after receiving information that the 31-year-old was carrying a firearm.

After being stopped, when the Police informed him that he and the vehicle would be searched, the 31-year-old continued driving at high speed, crashing into several vehicles and a motorcycle. As a result, the driver and passenger in the motorcycle were injured and are in hospital.

After an intense pursuit, the vehicle was stopped. During the search of the vehicle, a firearm was found.
