Arrested by SPAK order for the murder of Edmir Bregu/ GJKKO leaves the brother

The Special Court today left in force the security measure "prison arrest" for Enea Kume, the brother of Socialist Party MP, Loer Kume.

Enea Kume was arrested after SPAK solved the murder of Edmir Bregu, on November 21, 2021, in the city of Durrës. According to SPAK's announcement, Kume is suspected of the following criminal offenses:

a. "Premeditated murder", committed in revenge, to the detriment of citizen Edmir Bregu alias Ilir Kuçi (Maloku) on 24.01.2021 in the city of Durrës, committed in a special form of cooperation, that of a structured criminal group and "Commitment of criminal offenses by a criminal organization and a structured criminal group", provided for by articles 78/2, 28/4 and 334, second paragraph, of the Criminal Code.

b. “Structured criminal group”, provided for by Article 333/a/2 of the Criminal Code.

c. “Illegal possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition”, committed in a special form of cooperation, that of a structured criminal group, and “Committing criminal offenses by a structured criminal group and criminal organization”, provided for by articles 278/1, 28/4 and 334, first paragraph of the Criminal Code.

Socialist MP Loer Kume also reacted to his brother's arrest. The MP said that as long as there is no verdict of guilt, he will consider him innocent. He emphasized that everyone is responsible for their lives and the actions they take.

"I was informed last night, he has been arrested and is a suspect and as long as there is no verdict of guilty, I will consider him innocent until justice speaks. But everyone is responsible for their lives and the decisions they make in their lives, but let's not talk prematurely," said MP Loer Kume./ CNA
