The Head of the Central Election Commission, Ilirjan Celibashi, spoke today at a media conference regarding the conduct of local elections in 6 municipalities in the country.
During his speech, Celibashi also indicated the budget that will be needed to hold the elections, saying that according to a preliminary assessment, the necessary budget is 306 million lek.
The Chief Commissioner also announced that the election campaign will take place from November 1 to November 8.
"In a preliminary assessment of the costs of these elections, including the personnel that will be engaged, electronic identification and the rest of the electoral logistics, we have a value of 306 million lek. Tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, the draft for these elections will be finalized. The electoral campaign will take place from November 1 to November 8. We are in the process of recruiting personnel for these elections. The CEC and all staff are working 24/7 to enable elections to all standards," Celibashi said, among other things./CNA
