The leader of the Christian Democratic Party, Nard Ndoka, spoke this evening about the political situation in the country. In a television appearance, Ndoka expressed criticism of the country's opposition.

"Without a doubt, we also have a problematic opposition in the institutional aspect. Ultimately, the opposition is an institution, it is the mirror of this majority. When you have a strong and clear mirror, to show you your defects, you are forced to reflect. The mirror today is foggy, it is steamy. Often this also makes the government not see itself realistically. It makes them look the same," Noka said.

The PDK leader also spoke about the Electoral Code, which he said has problems.

"I see a problematic electoral code. I have the moral right to say it, because in 2008 I went on strike to oppose it. While today, the opposition finds it almost impossible to come to power with this code, even under normal conditions, even with a technical government. There is an imbalance of votes, it is unconstitutional. There are districts like Fier and Vlora where the differences in mandates are very large. The territorial reform has been a mess. Instead of reducing the administration, we have doubled it. We are paying more salaries than we are making investments and services for citizens ," he said.

Among other things, Ndoka said that the opposition does not have a standard, does not have a draft for the electoral system, and according to him, everything ends with bargaining.

"The opposition does not have a standard, it does not have a clear draft for the electoral system. They play with words and in the end everything ends with bargaining. The main problem is the morality of Albanian politics, which should function with consensus and not with bargaining," said Ndoka. /CNA
