The leader of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, has appealed to the Court of Appeal of the Special Court the decision of the Special Court that left him in the measure of "prison arrest".
The appeal was submitted by his lawyer Kujtim Cakrani.
On September 19, Ilir Meta's request for a change in security measures was rejected by the First Instance Court.
The former President has also appealed to the Supreme Court and his request will be reviewed on October 9.
