II International Conference/ His Beatitude, Joan inaugurates the stand

The Archbishop of Tirana, Durrës and all Albania, Joan, is participating in the 2nd International Conference organized by the theological journal "Θεολoyia", which is taking place in the city of Thessaloniki from September 29 to October 1, 2025.

As part of the cultural and spiritual activity "Let the world proclaim its protector: Saint Demetrius of Myrovlitis in the Balkans", His Beatitude, Archbishop of Tirana, Durrës and All Albania, Bishop Joani, inaugurated the stand representing the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Albania and our country.

The ceremony took place in the presence of the President of the Republic of Greece, Mr. Konstantinos Tasoulas, His Holiness the Ecumenical Patriarch, Bartholomew, His Beatitude the Patriarch of Bulgaria, Daniel, His Beatitude the Archbishop of Cyprus, George, and His Beatitude the Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, Ieronymos.

This significant moment once again demonstrated the unity of the Orthodox Churches and at the same time represented a special occasion where the Church of Albania gave its voice to the common mosaic of the world Orthodox tradition./ CNA
