US Ambassador Yuri Kim shared a statement of the US State Department regarding the delivery of drones from Tehran to Russia, which were used in recent days to attack Ukraine.

“Sot, Shtetet e Bashkuara iu bashkuan Mbretërisë së Bashkuar dhe Francës në ngritjen e çështjes së transferimit të UAV-ve nga Irani në Rusi në një takim të Këshillit të Sigurimit të OKB-së, ku anëtarët e Këshillit morën informime ekspertësh nga Sekretariati i OKB-së mbi raportet e transferimit të këtyre armëve të rrezikshme.. Ne shprehëm shqetësimet tona të rënda për blerjen nga Rusia të këtyre UAV-ve nga Irani në kundërshtim me rezolutën 2231 të Këshillit të Sigurimit të OKB-së.

As Iran continues to lie and deny providing weapons to Russia for use in Ukraine, we are committed to working with allies and partners to prevent the transfer of dangerous weapons to Russia. We will not hesitate to use our sanctions and other appropriate means against all involved in these transfers. We will also continue to provide unprecedented security assistance to Ukraine, including air defense capabilities, so that Ukraine can defend itself against these weapons," DASH emphasized./CNA.al
