He abused state funds/ the Supreme Court dismisses the appeal for Spiro Ksera

The Supreme Court did not accept the appeal submitted by the former Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Spiro Ksera.

It is learned that the recourse was examined by judges Ilir Panda, Sokol Binaj and Sandër Simoni in the consultation room.

Thus, they have upheld the guilty verdict for the former Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, who was found guilty in 2016 for the charge of "theft while abusing his duty", in collaboration.

The former high official contested this decision, but today the Supreme Court overturned it.

We remind you that Spiro Ksera, the former minister of the Berisha government was sentenced to 16 months in prison.

According to the court, Ksera and his three former subordinates had embezzled 30 million ALL from the ministry's budget, fictitiously doing, only on paper, some activities for the needy classes./ BA - C N A.al
