Director for European Affairs meets Altin Dumani/ Focus, crackdown on criminal

The US Embassy in Tirana has announced that after the end of the government shutdown due to budget funds, work will now continue normally.

The Embassy has provided details regarding the meeting held between the Director for West Central European Affairs, Mark Fleming, and the head of SPAK, Altin Dumanin.

During the meeting, the focus of the talks was on the strong US-Albania partnership, strengthening NATO's readiness, and cracking down on international criminal organizations.

"After the end of the government shutdown due to budget funds, we are ready to continue our work normally!

In case you missed it, we had the pleasure of welcoming the Director for West Central European Affairs, Mark Fleming, to Albania last month.

Director Fleming met with leaders from across the political spectrum, as well as with justice and law enforcement institutions, to emphasize the strong U.S.-Albania partnership, strengthen NATO readiness, and crack down on international criminal organizations," the release states.

In addition to Dumani, Fleming has met with leaders from across the political spectrum. / CNA
