Who produced the fake news about Arben Ahmetaj's extradition?

Who produced the fake news about Arben Ahmetaj's extradition?

Today, a piece of news was produced, surprisingly fake news, on the day when Erion Veliaj's trial was held and postponed.

The news was first published by Report TV and then quickly spread to other media outlets.

There are frequent news stories that occur by chance and precisely on the dates when a hearing for Veliaj takes place.

The same thing happened on Friday, October 31st, when Veliaj was reporting to the Constitutional Court, the media outlets that support the mayor broke the news of Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku at SPAK.

The same scenario is happening today. While the trial for Veliaj was taking place, a news item was produced, an extradition request for Arben Ahmetaj.

CNA conducted a search on the official website of the Ministry of Justice and saw that there was no announcement regarding this issue, we also contacted the Ministry of Justice where official sources confirmed that there is no such current request.

According to the verifications made, the extradition request was made in 2023 and the extradition request is made only once.

Why was this fake news produced today, exactly on the day of Erion Veliaj's trial?

Who produced it? After all the media was distributed. We also initially fell prey to this trap.

A false news story, which takes on great importance to draw attention away from a very important trial.

And, what is now apparent is that Erion Veliaj postpones and postpones the hearings endlessly, he does not go to face the charges, while the charges have been in court for four months.

Within four months, with his cooperation and that of his lawyers, the trial could have been over, but it continues to drag on.

Just when the first news should be why the trials for Veliaj are being postponed, a fake news story breaks out.

And the news that Erion Veliaj is asking for the trials to be postponed remains in the shadows. On the other hand, he comes out and publicly tells us that he is without charges, is being held hostage in prison, there is no justice for him, etc.

When in fact the trial took place today and the attention is not on his trial, but he loses attention because fake news unintentionally comes out.

Once for Arben Ahmetaj, once for another occasion, once for another reason.

This will also happen when there is another trial for Veliaj, as the only goal is to prevent the news from spreading and citizens from finding out that the trial has not taken place and that Erion Veliaj has made his next postponement.

And for this reason, various fake news is easily invented./ CNA
