Ahmetaj refutes media that produced "fake news"

Former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj has reacted to the "fake news" that broke out in the media that an official request for his extradition had been sent.

Ahmetaj, through a reaction on social media, emphasizes that this is fake news and that the extradition request was made over two years ago, on August 18, 2023, and according to the law, it is only made once.

He emphasizes that the spread of fake news is intended to divert attention from recent mega scandals and collaboration with organized crime and drug cartels.

"A position regarding today's false news that the Ministry of Justice has submitted a new extradition request, I would like to clarify the following:

1. The extradition request was made urgently over two years ago on August 18, 2023. The law stipulates that only one request can be made. And if there was one, it would be in the wake of the smoke…

2. The pseudo-transfer has been under investigation for over a year and the prosecutor knows full well that there is no transfer between me and anyone else, let alone the businessmen or businessman in question. Let it remain as a challenge!!! The letter of intent is "translated" very quickly.

3. ?Why is the noise intentionally initiated by the regime??? Quite simple! To divert attention from the recent mega scandals and from collaboration with organized crime and drug cartels.

4. ?More details, to follow…," writes Ahmetaj./ CNA
