Violence against minors in Fier/ Security measures are given for the three young

The Fier Prosecutor's Office has imposed security measures for three girls involved in the rape of a minor, an event that was made public through social networks. The persons under investigation are suspected of the criminal offense of illegal deprivation of liberty, committed in collaboration.

The court has ordered the measure of imprisonment for citizen LL, house arrest for citizen KG, and temporary hospitalization in a psychiatric institution for citizen MR.

According to the Prosecution, the evidence collected up to this stage of the investigation has dictated the need for these preventive measures, as it is suspected that the minors have exercised violence by depriving a peer of their freedom.

The Fier Prosecutor's Office has called on citizens, social media administrators and media entities to categorically avoid publishing or distributing images and data that identify minors.

At the request of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction, Fier and by court decision, the personal security measures 'Arrest in prison' were imposed on citizen LL, 'House arrest' on minor citizen KG, and 'Temporary admission to a psychiatric institution' on minor citizen MR in conflict with the law, all suspected of committing the criminal offense 'Unlawful deprivation of liberty' provided for by article 110 of the Criminal Code, committed in collaboration.

Following the investigations, regarding criminal proceedings no. 1094, of 2026, which has as its object the investigation of the incident of violence against a minor, made public through social networks, up to these moments of the investigation, the identification of the persons involved in the incident and the actions committed by them, facts have been identified that have raised reasonable suspicion of the existence of the criminal offense of "Unlawful Deprivation of Liberty", provided for by Article 110 of the Criminal Code, committed in collaboration. The facts identified up to this stage of the investigation have dictated the need to take personal security measures against the persons under investigation.

Given that minors are involved in this proceeding, the Prosecutor's Office calls on citizens, administrators of social media pages and media entities to avoid publishing, distributing and republishing footage or data that could lead to the identification of minors involved in this event, while respecting legal obligations to protect their privacy, dignity and rights.

The Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction, Fier, will continue to inform the public about any further developments in the criminal proceedings, to the extent that such information does not violate investigative secrecy, the rights of minors and the procedural guarantees provided by law. /CNA
