"Depopulation, unemployment and inflation"/ Protester: The government is 'killing' citizens, we will not stop

Many citizens gathered again this Friday in "Skënderbej" Square to begin the civic protest against the government, which today marked 41 days.

One of them declared in front of the cameras that Albanians have many reasons to take to the streets, while highlighting depopulation, unemployment levels, and high prices.

The protester described the situation and the government's lack of response as a murder of citizens.

"The reasons are many, depopulation, unemployment.
Albania does not have the target to hold a concert of 4.2 million euros, when pensions are the lowest in Europe.
We have never stopped and we will continue.
No work is completed in state offices, the administration is in ruins, prices have become more expensive, pensions have increased by 500 lek. This is murder for citizens", said the protester. /CNA
