He surrendered for property alienation/ The court issues the decision for the former deputy director of ASHK Dibër

The First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Dibër has decided today to replace the security measure of "prison arrest" for the former deputy director of the State Cadastre Agency (ASHK) in Dibër, Danjel Gjura, ordering his immediate release from prison.

The decision was made by Judge Enkeleda Halilaj, just two days after Gjura surrendered to the police.

He had been wanted for several weeks, suspected of involvement in a fraud scheme for the alienation of properties in this district.

According to the court's decision, the Prosecution's request was partially accepted, changing the extreme security measure "prison arrest" (ordered in absentia on June 17, 2026), with two lighter measures: "obligation to report to the judicial police" and "ban on leaving the country".
