Denunciation/ The Municipality of Vlora has decided to install underground

The former chairman of the Democratic Party for the Vlora Branch, Atird Hoxha, has denounced that today the Municipality of Vlora has taken a decision completely without consulting experts and outside any technical standards.

Hoxha says that the installation of underground waste containers has been decided on the sandbar, an area dedicated to vacationers, and on terrain inaccessible to the trucks that must empty them.

According to him, there is a mistake in the report that there are 100 containers. Hoxha says that there are only 50 which should have been placed after a clear consultation process with businesses operating along the Skele – Ujë i Ftohtë coastal promenade.

He demands that this decision be immediately abandoned as it is foolish and will only bring pollution.

"Today, the Municipality of Vlora has taken an action completely without consulting experts and outside any technical standard.

The rush for propaganda, with the idea that "work is being done", is bringing irreparable consequences for the area, where the installation of underground waste containers has been irresponsibly decided.

Investing is not a problem at all, on the contrary, it is welcome, but placing these containers on the sandbar, an area dedicated to vacationers, and on terrain inaccessible to the trucks that must empty them, is a madness that can only happen here, and only by these rebirthers.
