The Tirana Marathon is being held this Sunday.
As this event takes place, which the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, has called world, a protest has been held in parallel.
The young people of the Youth Forum of the Democratic Party went to the marathon wearing T-shirts with the face of Ardi Gjoklaj, the 17-year-old who was found dead in the summer of 2016, in the Sharra landfill.
The t-shirts of the protesters, in addition to Gjoklaj's face, bore the inscription: " I'm sorry for not giving you my hand, Erion Veliaj killed me ".
This protest reminds Veliaj, but also Albanians and the whole world of the crime at the waste collection site, where the young man worked.
This protest is also a call to establish justice for Ardit Gjoklajn./ CNA
