Vote of the Diaspora/ Çakaj: They vote it in the Assembly, we remove it

The member of the Regulatory Commission in the CEC, Muharrem Çakaj, while discussing the vote of the Diaspora, stated that it is not appropriate for a law voted in the Assembly to be removed in the Regulatory Commission.

Çakaj said that the process should be cleared and other methods should be found to secure the vote of immigrants.

"They give it to the Assembly, we remove it here. This doesn't work.

Let's pave the way for the process to register voters and find ways to get them involved.

We do not know today how many citizens will be registered. Another problem is the cost.

It is the obligation of the Albanian state to make the election materials available", said Çakaj./ CNA
