Private data scandal/ An attempt to silence clashes in DP and incinerators affair

In recent days, in the media are circulating complete data on the salaries of albanian citizens in the public and private sector, stored in a database. This is a list that can be easily extracted from the database of the General Directorate of Taxes, because if you look at the companies where people are employed, they turn out to be all big taxpayers.

In fact, this list has been circulating on phones for almost 9 months, in exel format, but it has not been published in the media, as it has very sensitive data, and no one can publish it in full.

This is because it includes information, from identity, name, surname, birthday, to ID card details, the amount of money he receives and where he receives it, Taxable Person Identification Number (NIPT), and everything else.

This list contains more or less the same data that the patronages of the Socialist Party had, who dealt with the classification of political orientation of the citizens of Tirana. In the list there are different figures, but we are mentioning a well-known name such as Ben Blushi, who appears in these data to have declared a salary of around 240 million Lek.

But there is other data for each person how much is the salary and the respective NIPT from he is being paid. The list has been circulating for 9 months, and many journalists and media outlets have been informed about it, but due to sensitivity it has not been published.

So, it is almost the same as in the case of publishing the list of patronageist’s of the Socialist Party. But it is apparently being launched on the market as important news to draw attention to the current situation, namely the clashes within the opposition, the corruption scandal with incinerators, as well as the arrests related to it.

This is due to the fact that a bigger scandal closes a big scandal, to open another bigger one.

While on the one hand the Berisha-Basha clash continues in the Democratic Party, and on the other hand the arrests for the incinerators’ affair, there is a way to attract attention, with a list that can be easily extracted from the database of the General Directorate of Taxes./CNA.al
