Facts and accusations/ Berisha ”executes” Basha politically

Yesterday evening, former Prime Minister Sali Berisha issued strong accusations against the leader of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha. Invited to the show ?Opinion? on TV Klan, Berisha has punished Lulzim Basha, ?executing? him politically, and blaming him for every political decision of the Democratic Party, which brought successive failures since the leadership of the party taken by Basha.

Asked by the moderator Blendi Fevziu if was his the decision to enter the Tent in 2017, on the eve of the general elections, Berisha stressed that it could never have been his decision, but this was a decision taken only by Lulzim Basha.

?Can anyone imagine that Sali Berisha will put you in the Tent? Never ever. Those who know me can never say it. I am the man of the squares. It was only Lulzim Basha?s decision ?- said former Prime Minister.

Berisha also blamed Basha for the responsibility for handing over the mandates of the deputies in 2019. Berisha said that he had warned Basha that such a decision could lead to disaster. ?Anyone who thinks I made that decision honors me. But it?s not the truth. ?I warned him that such a decision could bring to victory, but it could also lead to disaster?- said Berisha.

Also, Berisha denied being responsible for the decision to boycott the local elections of June 30, 2019. Berisha said?:?It was not my decision, I wasn?t involved at all. I just respect the decisions of the party leader?.

But Berisha didn?t stop there. Asked by Fevziu about the accusations of abuse related to the Durrës-Kukës road, Berisha made again Lulzim Basha responsible. ?There was no accusation against me. The accusations were against the minister?-said Berisha, thus addressing Lulzim Basha, who at that time was the Minister of Transport.

On the other hand, we recall Sali Berisha?s reaction a day before, in a statement on social networks, where stood out a message for Lulzim Basha ?I have also denounced in the Albanian and foreign media, knowing very well the position but also his countless connections, the multi-billionaire George Soros, as the main corruptor of today?s politicians and in my judgment, as a real enemy of democracy in my country?- Berisha wrote two day ago.

And we remember here that Lulzim Basha was educated with Soros?money. It is Lulzim Basha who received Soros at the DP headquarters, which Berisha had never done. These are the statements of former Prime Minister Berisha, which clearly speak of a punishment towards the man who once supported and put him at the head of the DP.

It seems that Berisha is already tired of Lulzim Basha and his epic incompetence, which was probably among the main reasons that exposed him to the US, thus bringing the decision made public two days ago by the US State Department./CNA.al
