“Refund the treatment package for the infected people with Covid-19”/ Basha: Citizens receive loans to pay the medicines

Opposition leader Lulzim Basha, demanded again today an increase in testing, during a meeting with some family doctors. Basha compared the health situation in Albania with that in Slovakia, and stated that the number of tests should be increased urgently.

?We have insisted from the beginning on the importance and value of testing. Yesterday I heard that Slovakia had done tests on half of the population. Today it tested in total the 2/3 of the population. They have done tests on those aged 10, while our Prime Minister says that the tests have no effect on the second wave.

?In those few minutes that he devoted to the pandemic, the prime minister said that testing doesn?t facilitate the management of the second wave?- he said, while not sparing the accusations of curing patients with Covid-19. The DP leader claims that people are taking out bank loans to afford the anti-Covid treatment package.

?Citizens take loans in the bank to pay for anti-Covid package drugs. The treatment package must be 100 per cent refundable. Doctors received the anti-COVID protocol just 1 week ago. Family doctors and nurses should receive the promised bonus. Family doctors should receive the bonus of 1000 euros, while nurses the bonus of 500 euros. The government should stop the political attacks and be put in zharge?- he stressed./ CNA.al
