SPAK is investigating Ben Blushi’s partner in business

The Special Prosecution Office against Organized Crime and Corruption, has finally registered proceedings for the famous incinerator file in Albania. CNA.al has learned from SPAK?s official sources, that after a few tens of denunciations made in the media, but finally by one of the activists of ?Thurrje? initiatives, this institution will now investigate the notorious file that starts with 178 million euros, and goes to almost 400 million euros.

All this tax money of Albanians and business. On June 24, 2020, ?Thurrje? initiative filed a criminal report in SPAK for the Fier incinerator. Civil society demanded that the Special Prosecution investigate the concession and the officials involved.

The report was filed for disruption of competition, equality in tenders, mismanagement of public property, falsification of the construction site, misuse of the state budget, tax evasion and laundering of proceeds of crime and involvement in international organized crime.

Meanwhile, yesterday CNA.al officially learned that it is the prosecutor Dritan Prençi, who will lead the investigation regarding the incinerator file scandals. CNA.al has reported with dozens of articles with exclusive facts and documents, how Mirel Mërtiri and Klodian Zoto were connected, from the incinerator of Elbasan to that of Fier, in Tirana, with foreign citizens but also with shell or ghosts companies registered in the Netherlands.

Mirel Mërtiri and Klodian Zoto, are the partners in business of the director of Top Channel, Ben Blushi. The latter has on behalf of his wife 33 percent of the shares of ?EM Capital Group? company, which has bought 51 percent of the shares of ?Lori Kafe?./ CNA.al
