The legal battle is "heating up" / Twitter calls Musk's associates

Twitter has subpoenaed a number of Elon Musk's associates, according to court filings and public statements, as the company moves forward with its legal battle against the Tesla billionaire over his attempt to scuttle their $44 billion acquisition deal.

The list of those subpoenaed includes several prominent investment firms and venture capitalists, some of whom are part of the so-called PayPal Mafia, a group of influential tech industry figures who worked at the payments company co-founded by Musk.

According to a court filing, Twitter sent a call to Founders Fund, a San Francisco-based VC firm founded by billionaire Peter Thiel, who was also a co-founder of PayPal. Twitter is also said to have sent subpoenas to investors Joe Lonsdale and David Sacks, according to statuses from both people./ CNA.al
