This weekend also brought very positive performances for the Albanian National Team players in the European championships and beyond, with the red and blacks continuing to be protagonists with their teams' goals, assists and successes.

One of the most important achievements of the week came in Greece, where Thomas Strakosha and Stavro Pilo were declared champions with AEK Athens. Their team won 2-1 against Panathinaikos, securing the 14th championship title in history, while both Albanian footballers were starters in this decisive match.

Ivan Balliu also achieved significant success with Rayo Vallecano. The Spanish team secured qualification for the Conference League final after triumphing over Strasbourg in the semi-finals, achieving a historic season in the European arena.

Ernest Muçi was the absolute protagonist in the Turkish championship. The Albanian striker scored the winning goal for Besiktas in the 1-2 victory over Trabzonspor, achieving the second goal of the match. In the same match, Kristjan Asllani was a starter for Besiktas. For Muçi, this was the 11th goal in the championship this season, confirming the very good form of the red and black striker.

In MLS, Myrto Uzuni continues to be crucial for Austin FC. The Albanian striker opened the challenge against Minnesota United with a penalty kick in the 14th minute, in a match that ended in a 2-2 draw.
