He shone in Serie A, Muric surprises everyone with his decision

Arijanet Muric will not continue at Sassuolo after the end of this season. The Kosovo international goalkeeper is expected to return to Ipswich, the club that owns his card.

The 27-year-old impressed with his performances in Serie A, especially in the 1-1 draw against Juventus, where he conceded a penalty in the final minutes of the match.

He has played 32 games for Sassuolo so far, keeping six clean sheets. In some of those games, he was even named the best player on the pitch.

However, Muric decided to leave after the final matches of the season against Lecce and Parma. Being on the bench for three consecutive matches seems to have influenced his decision to seek a new adventure.

Sassuolo had the option to buy his card for 10 million euros at the end of the season.
