Done/ Real Madrid will bring back the famous coach

Jose Mourinho will return to manage Real Madrid next season, according to reports from journalist Sacha Tavolieri.

According to the latter, the Portuguese coach, currently in charge of Benfica, has reached an agreement with the Madrid club and the formalization is expected next week.

Mourinho previously managed Real Madrid from 2010 to 2013, a period in which he won the Spanish championship in the 2011-2012 season, the Copa del Rey in 2010-2011 and the Spanish Super Cup in 2012-2013.

Real Madrid are looking for big changes after a trophyless season in Spain and Europe. A 2-0 defeat to Barcelona in the 35th week of La Liga took away the Madrid team's chances of winning the championship.

After the departure of Xabi Alonso, the club had temporarily entrusted the bench to Alvaro Arbeloa. Mourinho's return is seen as Real Madrid's attempt to start a new competitive cycle.
